On November 8, 2007, the Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment, Committee of Transportation and Infrastructure, US House of Representatives, held a Hearing on legislation (H.R. 135) introduced by Georgia Congressman John Linder advocating the establishment of a National Water Commission to develop recommendations for a comprehensive water strategy to address our nation’s water needs.
