We currently have an opportunity in our Raleigh, NC office for a motivated Industrial Wastewater Environmental Engineer. The successful candidate will support our Industrial Total Water Solutions Project Development group. The focus of this position will be to apply biological and physical/chemical treatment approaches for innovative treatment, sustainability, and reduction &amp; reuse projects. This position will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Evaluation and optimization of existing systems
- Developing designs for new industrial water and wastewater treatment plants
- Performing treatability studies
- Water quality permitting
- Preparation of regulatory documents
- Activities required by the Clean Water Act
Job requirements - B.S. Civil/Chemical/Environmental Engineering
- M.S. preferred
- 3-7 years relevant experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Willing to develop competence in a broad array of wastewater and water quality related tasks
