Job description Senior Project Manager - Water Resources

Woodard & Curran has an opportunity for a Senior Management Professional to join our growing firm. Goals and Objectives
Within the first 90 days, put together a qualified technical team to support the execution of municipal projects within the Water Service Sector, specifically in the area of water resources/water system supply and treatment.

Within the first year, secure leadership roles in organizations and expand your network throughout the municipal market. This will include assisting you to publish articles and to make presentations at conferences and trade shows to further establish yourself as a recognized leader in your field of expertise.

Within the first year, apply your technical and business expertise to increase your service sector revenue by 15%, which will be measured by net revenue booked, net revenue managed, the profitability of your projects, and the utilization of your staff.

Within the first six months, put together a strategy that facilitates your recruiting, mentoring, and professional development of junior staff. Participate in a leadership position in growing the Duluth office.

For example: You will have the support of the Southeast Municipal Market Leader and the Group Leader responsible for supporting our municipal clients in the fields of water, wastewater and civil/site engineering to help put your team in place, including hiring new staff if needed. As required, professionals will be available to support you to write articles, prepare abstracts, organizing presentations, etc. to help you attain or expand your leadership role in the marketplace.

We have full time sales staff that can identify qualified clients to help you focus your efforts. You will have the freedom to secure work in the greater Atlanta area, focusing on the small to mid-size communities of Cobb, Forsyth, and Gwinnett counties. Not only are we a presence in the Northeast, we are also rapidly expanding in the Southeast United States. You will have support in all of our geographies. We have strong on-going in-house management and technical training support, which will help you expand your own expertise as well as supporting mentoring and staff development goals.
Job requirements A minimum of 15 years of directly related experience in municipal water resources/water system supply and treatment; B.S. in civil/environment engineering or related engineering or hydrogeology disciplines; GA P.E. registration or CG registration; recognized in the industry as a water resources professional; excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are essential.
