Projects will be for hydrologic and hydraulic studies, drainage system and storm water management design for runoff quantity and quality mitigation. Successful candidates will track schedules, deal with applications to federal, state, and local storm water management agencies, and provide assistance with wetland permitting and mitigation.

Candidates should possess a basic understanding of the following areas of responsibility:

Hydrologic & Hydraulic Modeling
Watershed Master Planning
FEMA Map Revisions
Storm Water Management Studies
Floodplain/Floodway Analysis & Reports
Stream Stabilization and Erosion Control
NPDES Permitting
Bridge / Culvert Hydraulic Analysis
DAM Permitting Assistance
Flood Mitigation Planning
Wetland permitting and mitigation
Processing LOMA/LOMRs


Experience or aptitude in modeling software such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HEC-1, HEC-2, TR-20 and AutoCad is desired. The position requires excellent written communications skills to generate clear and concise documentation.
