Candidates should possess a basic understanding of the following areas of responsibility: Hydrologic & Hydraulic Modeling Watershed Master Planning FEMA Map Revisions Storm Water Management Studies Floodplain/Floodway Analysis & Reports Stream Stabilization and Erosion Control NPDES Permitting Bridge / Culvert Hydraulic Analysis DAM Permitting Assistance Flood Mitigation Planning Wetland permitting and mitigation Processing LOMA/LOMRs Experience or aptitude in modeling software such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HEC-1, HEC-2, TR-20 and AutoCad is desired. The position requires excellent written communications skills to generate clear and concise documentation. |
